[Scotland, UK - 06 June 2008] Ranaviru Day (War Heroes' Day) falls on the 07th of June every year to commemorate all members of the Sri Lankan Armed Forces and Police, who laid their lives in the Fight Against Tamil LTTE Terrorism.This year's Ranaviru Day will be celebrated especially in Sri Lanka and around the World by all Sri Lankans.

This is wonderful. It is really heartening to know that there are True Sri Lankan Patriots who are with the Valiant Servicemen who are liberating our beloved Motherland for us, and with the families of those brave sons and daughters of Lanka who were killed or went missing in action or were disabled. 'Oba Samata Budhusaranai'.
